I was a janitor at Walmart. I promise you it is a liability thing. I nearly lost my job bc it was my first as a cart pusher bc I didn't take all the quizzes for their modules bc I wanted to work and they decided to keep me as a janitor instead. There's massive liability. I am a janitor now at a school and I wear shorts (not super tho) but I'm vacuum and mop so it's not that bad but for that even I've had to go through a lot of training just to cover their liability.

My grandma takes care of and cleans the graves at the church I grew up in. She doesn't use chemicals and a lot of the people who have loved ones buried there are elderly so they can't do it themselves. We also have family buried there ourselves. My point is its possible to do this respectfully and it be a kind act but this is so not it. Oh and at NO point should you be digging in a graveyard. If you want to clear weeds just use a little garden rake. Cemetaries are not pleasant places, (even for us goths) there are certain bugs and smells that live there due to it being a place where decomposition is happening. I promise you don't want to be digging around.
